My Philosophy
I believe that exercise is both a physical and spiritual endeavor. When I speak of spiritual I refer to that part of us that we cannot touch. For example, our value system, our happiness, our determination, our character, our integrity, etc. That is certainly an integral part of who we are. The physical and spiritual are different aspects of the same thing, which is our life. They are inseparable. Each affects the other.
When we make a determination to improve our physical well being through exercise, that determination is our spiritual side. Exercise stimulates the secretion of endorphins, which are mood elevators. As our health improves and our body looks better (physical) we feel a great sense of accomplishment, a sense of empowerment (spiritual) because we made it happen. The more you pursue exercise the more you attain physical and spiritual benefits.
It is my goal to work together with you to improve you physical and spiritual well being.
